To Earth We Return skull pendant

This gently textured silver skull pendant with its tiny branch motif, is a reminder of our connection to the earth, our home, which we sprang from and will return to in the fullness of time. The shimmering, starry labradorite eyes (a stone of transformation) remind us that change and rebirth are possible and that endings also bring new beginnings. Wear it as a talisman of hope for the future and a reminder to treasure the present.

The pendant :
- measures approximately 3 cm x 2.5 cm
- is made from fine & sterling silver and set with two 5mm labradorite cabochons.
- hangs from an 18 inch, 925 sterling silver curb chain which fastens with a spring ring clasp. The chain can be substituted for a long black silken cord - just let me know at checkout.

The fine silver skull pendant is hand detailed with a tiny, leafy branch and dot work. It is set with two 5mm labradorite cabochons, finished with a dark, oxidising patina to pick out the details and polished to a high shine. Finally, it is finished with microcrystalline wax to help prevent tarnishing.
The pendant is carefully formed from precious metal clay, a material which offers a more eco-friendly alternative to mined silver as it uses reclaimed silver. The jump rings are sterling silver.

Care - Silver naturally tarnishes and care should be taken to avoid contact with liquids and perfumes. This piece is best cared for by gently polishing with a polishing cloth such as the one you'll find included with your order, being careful not to press too deeply into the indentations so as to preserve the dark oxidised detailing!
