The Ancestors recycled silver cauldron pendant

I was inspired to make this cauldron in honour of ancestors both distant and recently passed, and I've embellished it with three skulls and two little garnets to symbolise the blood which flows from generation to generation.

The pendant :
- measures approximately 3.5 cm x 2.5 cm
- is made from fine & sterling silver and set with two 3mm garnet cabochons.
- hangs from an 18 inch, 925 sterling silver curb chain which fastens with a spring ring clasp. The chain can be substituted for a 20inch 925 silver chain or a long black silken cord - just let me know at checkout.

The fine silver cauldron pendant is detailed with a fine silver skull and stamped with two more skulls and tiny stars. It is set with two 3mm garnet cabochons, finished with a dark, oxidising patina to pick out the details and polished to a high shine. Finally, it is finished with microcrystalline wax to help prevent tarnishing.
The pendant is carefully formed from precious metal clay, a material which offers a more eco-friendly alternative to mined silver as it uses reclaimed silver. The jump ring and cauldron handle are made from sterling silver.

Care - Silver naturally tarnishes and care should be taken to avoid contact with liquids and perfumes. This piece is best cared for by gently polishing with a polishing cloth such as the one you'll find included with your order, being careful not to press too deeply into the indentations so as to preserve the dark oxidised detailing!
