My mantra pendants contain a simple word or phrase that you can focus on to help you get through the day or remind you of what's important. They first came about when, to help me through a period of anxiety, I made myself a pendant out of recycled copper pipe and wire stamped with the word "breathe". I still wear it every day and it reminds me to slow down and breathe deeply whenever I need to.

The main body of the pendant is made from a section of reclaimed copper pipe which has been stamped and oxidised with a dark patina to bring out the design. It has been polished to a high shine and then finished with microcrystalline wax, to resist tarnishing and finger prints.

At the top, the pendant features a hammered, upcycled copper washer which is stamped with tiny crescent moons and embellished with a 5mm round amethyst cabochon set in a copper cup.

The bottom of the pendant is decorated with a faceted, iridescent crystal bead attached by copper wire to a chunky jump ring made from reclaimed copper electrical wire. It is flanked on either side by a spacer ring made from a small upcycled copper washer, and a wire wrapped round glass crackle bead. These decorations are attached to the main body of the pendant by another hammered, upcycled copper washer.

The whole pendant hangs from a copper ball chain by a chunky, rustic copper jump ring hand made from salvaged wire.

Each piece of Holaweg silver jewellery arrives ready to gift in recyclable packaging.

CARE - Copper naturally tarnishes and care should be taken to avoid contact with liquids and perfumes. This piece is best cared for by gently polishing with a polishing cloth such as the one you'll find included with your order, being careful not to press too deeply into the stamped indentations so as to preserve the dark oxidised detailing!
