I just wanted to update you with the measures I'm taking to keep both you and me safe through this worrying time.
I've been observing social distancing at home since a week before the lockdown began in the UK, and am following handwashing and other sanitation guidelines.
My existing paper and jewellery making supplies were purchased before the pandemic, and any new jewellery making supplies will be set aside for 4 days before opening and then disinfected. (Actually, all jewellery components apart from chains, earring hooks and jump rings are also routinely heat treated, either by being exposed to an open flame - firing silver clay pieces and soldering/annealing copper and sterling silver - and by being boiled in a silver pickle cleaning solution after soldering).
All orders I post out will now go out from my home using Royal Mail's Click & Drop online service which means I can still obtain proof of postage/tracking information but can just drop the order straight in a post box without coming into contact with anyone. From there, Royal Mail staff will collect the mail and ship it as normal.
I will obviously keep monitoring the situation and let you know of any changes on this page. Please feel free to get in touch via the contact page if you'd like to ask anything. Thank you for supporting my little shop, stay home & stay safe!
